CHA Eun-woo also Cast in New Action Film from Director HWANG In-ho 

LEE Jong-suk, KIM Rae-won and CHA Eun-woo are teaming up for the upcoming action film Decibel (literal title) from director HWANG In-ho. The film went into production on April 20

The story follows a terrorist who plans to detonate a sonic weapon in the center of a major city, while a navy captain attempts to thwart his ambitions. 

LEE Jong-suk, who will play the captain, last appeared on the big screen in PARK Hoon-jung’s V.I.P. (2017), and previously starred in Hot Young Bloods (2014) and The Face Reader (2013). However LEE is far more well known for his TV work, which includes Pinocchio and While You Were Sleeping. Decibel is his first confirmed project since completing his mandatory military service in January.

KIM Rae-won recently starred in the K-drama L.U.C.A.: The Beginning, as well as the films Crazy Romance (2019) and Long Live the King (2019).

CHA Eun-woo, a member of the K-pop outfit ASTRO appeared in the series True Beauty which aired earlier this year. Decibel will mark his first major role in a feature film. 

Decibel will mark the third outing for director HWANG In-ho, who previously made the hit horror-horror-comedy Spellbound (2011) with SON Ye-jin and LEE Min-ki, and the serial killer thriller Monster (2014) with KIM Go-eun.
