LEE Min-ki entered the entertainment world as a model. In the early days, he developed his acting through TV drama series and his career was launched following the success of an MBC drama 'Be Strong, Geum-soon!' in 2005. LEE acted as a brother-in-law who bullied the main female character, and his performance garnered him that year’s "Best New Artist Award" by MBC. LEE became one the fastest rising actors of his generation. Soon after, he pulled off typical male characters in romantic comedies <A Day For An Affair> (2007) and <Romantic Island> (2008). His fun and simple-hearted appeal manifested itself in <Haeundae>. And his true value as a main character was recognized in the summer blockbuster <Quick> that attracted more than 2 million viewers, and also in the romantic comedy <Spellbound> released in December. With not many young actors who can drive a film’s success, LEE is an icon who deserves attention. He is one of the most trusted actors in their twenties by Korean movie fans today. He teamed up with KIM Min-hee for the acclaimed romantic feature <Very Ordinary Couple> in early 2013, showing yet another side of himself. He starred in two features in 2014, first he reteamed with HWANG In-ho as a deranged serial killer in <Monster> and next appeared as a down on his luck ex-baseball player turned gambler in <For the Emperor>. In early 2015, he appeared with YEO Jin-gu as a mental patient looking to break out from his facility in <Shoot Me in the Heart>, which was produced by Little Big Pictures.
