WONG Kar-wai, the president of the Tiantan Awards jury, will be joined by American director and producer Rob Cohen, Swedish helmer Ruben Östlund, Romanian director Cãlin Peter Netzer, Chinese actress SHU Qi, Chinese actor DUAN Yihong and Polish composer Jan A. P. Kaczmarek.
This year, BJIFF will present the retrospective sections “Special Collection Chinese Cinema: Reform and Opening-up 40 Years” and “Special Collection Female Power”. In addition, special programs will pay tribute to several acclaimed directors including Ingmar Berman and Wes Anderson.
