Born in 1988, Park Seyoung was already participating in several TV shows in the aughties when she was a teenager, starting with <Inspector Park Moon Soo> (2002). She waited until she completed her studies, graduating from Sangmyung University in film, to really start her acting career, and so in 2011 she returned to screens when she landed a supporting role in the drama series <If Tomorrow Comes>. She then followed it up in 2012 with <Love Rain> and <Faith>, before she joined the main cast of <School 2013>, the fifth season of a series well-known for introducing many young actors such as Ha Jiwon and Bae Doona. In 2013, she received top billing for the first time in the family melodrama series <A Tale of Two Sisters> and was picked as the new host for the popular music TV show <Music Bank>. The next year saw her earn further popularity as one of the celebrities taking part in the reality TV show <We Got Married>. It was also in 2014 that she made her film debut, starring alongside Joo Won and Choi Jinri in the comedy <Fashion King> (2014), soon followed by the indie <Cat Funeral> (2014). She went on to star in many more drama series, most notable about them <My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol> (2015), <Whisper> (2017) and <Money Flower> (2017-2018). In 2022, she made her big screen comeback with the car-racing action film <Stellar>.
Less
