LEE Tae-hun produced <The Man from Nowhere>, the biggest box office hit of 2010 among Korean films and is leading the production of <Snowpiercer> by BONG Joon-ho. He devised an alternative investment production system so as to protect the creativity of directors and producers from outside influence. He established a HD movie project company, Nine Directors, with nine movie directors, and developed ideas for, <I’m a Cyborg, but Thats OK>, and <Life is Cool> among many others. As the CEO of Moho Film, which was founded by PARK Chan-wook, LEE produced <Sympathy for Lady Vengeance>. He then established Opus Pictures, and produced YOO Ha’s <A Frozen Flower>. He also founded an independent investment company, United Pictures, with LEE Eugene and SHIM Bo-kyoung. In 2012, he released the SONG Kang-ho starring Howling, a procedural action film by YOO Ha. As the CEO of United Pictures, he found success by investing in <All About My Mother in the same year. He also established Snowpiercer, Inc. with PARK Chan-wook, seeking for overseas joint production for a few years. However, the USD 39 million project is entirely invested by CJ E&M and set to be released in August 2013.
