Another special program this year will be ‘Gaze and Memories: Asia′s Leading Women Filmmakers’, which will showcase the works of Indian filmmaker Deepa MEHTA, Vietnamese director TRINH T. Minh-ha and Yasmin AHMAD of Malaysia.

This year’s Korean Cinema Retrospective will focus on the work of acclaimed cinematographer JUNG Il-sung, including works he made with IM Kwon-taek (Mandara, 1981), KIM Soo-yong (Late Fall, 1982), KIM Ki-young (Woman of Fire, 1971) and LEE Doo-yong (The Last Witness, 1980).
