New Crime-Action Film from Director PARK Dae-min

PARK So-dam, SONG Sae-byeok, KIM Eui-sung and JEONG Hyeon-jun have joined forces for the upcoming crime-action film Special Praise (translated title). With director PARK Dae-min at the helm, the project began production on May 29.

Currently on screens in BONG Joon-ho’s Palme d’Or-winning box office smash PARASITE and also known for the exorcism thriller hit The Priests (2015), PARK So-dam plays Eun-ha, a delivery driver with a 100% success rate, who becomes involved in an unexpected incident after a young child steps into her car. Incidentally, Eun-ha’s young charge is played by JEONG Hyeon-jun, who acted alongside PARK in PARASITE.

Star of A Girl at My Door (2014) and Seven Years of Night (2018), SONG Sae-byeok is playing JO Kyeong-pil, a man chasing after Eun-ha. Reliable box office magnet KIM Eui-sung, known for TRAIN TO BUSAN (2016) and 1987: When the Day Comes (2017), among many others, has been cast as Eun-ha’s boss Mr. Baek.

This is Director PARK’s third feature-length project, following the Colonial Era-set investigation drama Private Eye (2009) with HWANG Jung-min and 2016’s Joseon Era comedy-adventure Seondal: The Man who Sells the River.
