The SON Hyun-ju-led thriller ORDINARY PERSON has received a raft of festival invitations which will see it travel the globe over three continents in the next few months. Coming up in its festival itinerary will be stops at the New York Asian Film Festival, the Fukuoka Asian Film Festival and the Moscow International Film Festival, where it has been invited to the competition lineup.

Directed by KIM Bong-han, who previously helmed the low-budget sci-fi drama THE HERO in 2013, ORDINARY PERSON features Hide and Seek (2013) star SON Hyun-ju as a detective in rural Korean in the 1980s who is surprised to discover that a recent arrest of his is in fact a notorious serial killer. After the detective examines the evidence, which had been put in front of him by people from the National Intelligence Service, he becomes suspicious of different motives at play behind the high-profile arrest.
