INSANE to be Released and Re-made in China

Distributed and Remade by the Producer of LOST IN THAILAND
 
 
INSANE, a Korean thriller, is to be released in China in the later half of this year, and then remade into a Chinese film by Beijing Qitian Dadi Showbiz Culture Spreads Co. Ltd., a Beijing based film, drama and culture distribution company.
 
Beijing Qitian Dadi Showbiz Culture Spreads Co. Ltd. is a large production and distribution company in China, producing CFs and corporate promotional videos, as well as producing and distributing films and dramas. It has co-produced Lost in Thailand (2012), a comedy, and Legend of a Rabbit: The Martial of Fire, an animation also released in Korea last year, and distributed Hollywood movies like Jurassic World, Fast & Furious 7 and Minions in China. 
 
WU chi, the president of Beijing Qitian Dadi Showbiz Culture Spreads Co. Ltd,. is confident that “INSANE is a great movie with well balanced planning, direction and acting, and it will make a good performance in the Chinese film market where everything is changing very fast.” 
 
INSANE is a thriller involving the issue of “legal lock-up” in an asylum, featuring a woman (KANG Ye-won) who is locked up in an asylum with no reason, and a TV news program producer (LEE Sang-yun) who is interested in her story, and tracks down the truth. INSANE was directed by LEE Cheol-ha, who also directed Hello?! Orchestra (2013), a music documentary, and The Haunted House Project (2010), a horror film.
