The first part of the 1st Vietnam-Korean Film Festival organized by CJ CGV to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was held at Megastar Crescent Mall in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam from the 24th to the 26th of October.

Ten Korean features, including the opening film Masquerade, were screened and the selection of Korean films reflected Korean sensibilities as well as the country’s culture. My Black Mini Dress, Always, In Another CountryLove On-Air and Punch drew audience members willing to sit on steps. Vietnamese press praised the opening film Masquerade for being a good mix of drama and comedy, and for its special Korean style.
