The son takes his father on a trip with the intention to abandon his father. ‘The moment of abandonment’ is portrayed with limited dialogue and in a serene way. The abandoner and the abandoned: The film doesn’t side with either party and just keep the relentless gaze of indifference. This film makes the audience to infer the hidden story and emotional turmoil by visually portraying the coexistence of silence and empty space. It’s a piece of ‘cine-poem’. (LEE Seung-min)
